Who is Sophie Theallet?

Sophie Theallet is a French-American fashion designer, winner of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award (2009) and the US Woolmark Prize (2012). She trained under Jean-Paul Gaultier and spent a decade with Azzedine Alaïa, and dressed First Lady Michelle Obama throughout her time in the White House.
